Reducing our greenhouse gas emissions
The E&P branch, which generates nearly half of the Group’s emissions, has set up a dedicated department to focus on Carbon Footprint Reduction (CFR). The team responsible for CFR in E&P has developed a roadmap to reduce the emissions of the branch’s operated assets from 18 million metric tons of CO2 in 2019 to 16.2 million in 2025.
