Frédérique Michaud - Exploration & Production Environment Manager

Frédérique graduated from the Ecole de Géologie et de Prospections Minière de Nancy and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Pétrole et Moteurs with core qualifications in production geology and reservoir engineering. She also has a diploma of CHEDD (Collège des Hautes Etudes Environnementales et Développement Durable).

She started her career in the Exploration & Production branch of Elf Aquitaine in 1983 and filled different international operational petroleum engineer positions (Norway, Italy and France).

She moved on to Gas & Power branch in 1998 and was in charge of Environment and sustainable development of this branch. Until 2004 she worked on world wild environmental and societal issues for mining, wind farm, gas plant, gas storage, gas pipe…. After a position in the affiliate TIGF, she came back to Exploration & Production and during 4 years was in charge of all the Research & Development for HSE topics. Then, she took an operational position of HSE manager of Total's Jean Féger Scientific and Technical Center in Pau (CSTJF).

Since 2017, within One HSE, she took the lead of the Environment Department for all the Exploration & Production assets.
